Crotty, Colin

Biography

Colin Crotty (b. 1974) studied at Crawford College of Art and Chelsea College of Art. He has had several solo exhibitions across Ireland including at the Goethe-Instiut, Sirius Arts Centre and Triskel Arts Centre, as well as having his paintings included in group exhibitions in Ireland, the UK and Germany. Aside from the Arts Council, he has work in the OPW collection and he is a lecturer in Fine Art at Crawford College of Art and Design.

Colin Crotty (b. Waterford, Ireland, 1974) studied at Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork and Chelsea College of Art, London.

 

Solo exhibitions have included ‘Gemeingeist’, Goethe Institut, Dublin (2010); a site specific work at Art Trail Docklands, Cork (2008); and The Red Mansion Foundation Award, Space Gallery, Chelsea College of Art, London (2006). Group shows have included Eigse Retrospective, Visual, Carlow (2010); ‘Compendium’, Temple Bar Galleries + Studios, Dublin (2009); and Matt Roberts Fine Art, Vinespace Gallery, London (2008).

 

Crotty is represented in The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s public collection.
