Shinnors, John

John Shinnors (b. Limerick, Ireland, 1950) studied at the Limerick School of Art and Design.

Solo shows include Taylor Galleries, Dublin (2012, 2007,2004, 2000, 1998, 1994, 1992, 1989 and 1987); Limerick School of Art and Design, Limerick (2010); Limerick City Gallery of Art, Limerick (2008); Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork (2005); The Hunt Museum, Limerick (2003); and Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork (2003). He participated in major group shows Oireachtas, RHA and Iontas on numerous occasions.

His work is represented in many public and private collections including The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon; Limerick City Gallery of Art; National Self Portrait Collection, University of Limerick; Office of Public Works (OPW); and Ulster Museum, Belfast.
