Kearney, Andrew

Andrew Kearney (b. Limerick, Ireland, 1961) studied at Limerick College of Art and Design, and Chelsea College of Art and Design, London.

Solo exhibitions of his work include Phatory, New York (2012); Nuite Blanche, Toronto, Canada (2012); and Galway Arts Centre, Galway (2008). Group exhibitions include ‘Embrace the Place’ at Tate Britain, London (2011); Kilkenny Arts Festival (2005); eva International, Limerick (1988) among others. Kearney was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Tokens’ (1993).

Apart from the collections of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon his work is included in the National Self Portrait Collection, University of Limerick.
